Sadly, once your loved one's mental decline has reached a certain stage, you begin to wonder if that's really true.

I sadly concur. It is truly heartbreaking. But as I've learned in many caregiver support groups, that you still need to laugh, because even your loved ones would!

The secret to a long life: Keep having birthdays. The more birthdays you have, the longer you'll live.

You are from the USA but write about Le Manoir....cool. I live just nearby it and have gone there a number of times. Agree with the good value comment.....

Reunion
A group of friends, all aged 40, discussed where they should meet for a reunion lunch. Finally, it was agreed that they would meet at LeManoir in Pointe Claire because the waitresses were cute and wore miniskirts.

10 years later, at age 50, the friends once again discussed where they should meet for lunch. Finally it was decided that they would meet at LeManoir in Point Claire because of the food and service was good and the beer selection was excellent.

10 years later, at age 60, the friends again discussed where they should meet for lunch. Finally it was agreed that they would meet at LeManoir in Point Claire because there was plenty of parking, they could dine in peace and quiet, and it was good value for the money.

10 years later, at age 70, the friends again discussed where they should meet for lunch. Finally it was agreed that they would meet at LeManoir in Point Claire because the restaurant was wheelchair accessible and had a toilet for the disabled.

10 years later, at age 80, the friends again discussed where they should meet for lunch. Finally it was agreed they would meet at LeManoir in Point Claire because they had never been there before.
