can be discouraging. One just never knows where they might be. I spent hours walking several miles. No photography day is wasted, however, and I did get some neat pictures - even a BIF!!!!! For me that's a win! It's just an ugly grackle (I think), but to one who does well to get black blobs, black blobs flying are sort of fun!
Some days, you get ice cream with your cake!

Great shots? Are these wild horses or a very large grazing area?
Looks like you had a great day afterwards.
I love horses too.

They are wild. Actually, the roan showed no concern about me. But when a group came by, he literally froze behind a tree.

Thanks. I had given up and very suddenly they appeared. Horses have been my life for many years.
A very nice set to go with your very nice day, Kathy!

Thanks, Mike. Any day out with a camera is a good day, no?

Great images Kathy
I guess the saying, "Good things come to he/she who waits" is true.
Very enjoyable series, Kathy. Thanks for taking us along on your wildlife and nature hike!
Very nice set Kathy - looks like a fun day!
Although I do not like the little Mesquite trees invading our pastures, I love a Mesquite forest. Thanks for the photos. We have five new babies this year. When the grass greens up and it warms up a tad more, will post their photos. 4 good colts and a superior filly.
