I never lived in NYC, but lived on nearby L.I. I was in The City on occasion for both business and pleasure.

There are quite a few strange people. But they are a very small percentage of the total population. There is a reason NYC is a major tourist destination. It isn't what we see here.

For the first time in nine months, my wife and I sat down at a restaurant table yesterday. During the pandemic, restaurants have been allowed to expand beyond the sidewalks into the streets. Those expansions are going to remain for sometime into the future, which, if the kitchens can handle it, might help the businesses. That’s a change.
What has not changed is one of the reasons I love to “dine al fresco.” Free entertainment.

you find that entertaining do you? He might make it a bit more difficult to keep your food down.

Definitely not my idea of a dining experience. Just seeing your pic made me almost lose my breakfast.
One reason my wife and I usually don’t frequent large cities

OMG! That would ruin my appetite but good. On second thought, it might help me lose those 10+ pounds I've gained over this past year.
