I might have posted this before.
I put a MicroSD card into my computer and tried to delete files. The computer thinks it's write-protected.. The adapter isn't locked, and I tried two different adapters. I think the little card has gone bad. Any ideas?
Have you checked the properties? Could be a permissions issue.
Jerry,
If the cards files are from a different computer, then it will most likely the PCs permissions...

May not be relative to this problem, but a Nikon rep recently advised me to not use micro sd cards in my Nikon

Did he give a reason?
Anyway, I use micro SD cards in my camera. Good thing it's not a Nikon.
When in doubt, blame the computer (the most complicated part of the equation), not the card. Your OS probably didn't grant the proper permissions to the card.
How about try formatting it in your camera if you want to get rid of the pictures? Might fix the problem going forward also. Just a thought

You stole my suggestion! I will add though, when I format in camera, I hit the format twice. Not sure there is any valid reason for that other than I've heard sometimes there is a bit of residual matter not totally cleaned off by formatting, so I do it twice just to be safe.

Great idea!
Whoops! The camera doesn't like that card. It gives me a flashing "Card."
I think I'll send it to Transcend and see what they say.
Lock and unlock a few times. Mechanism may just need to be used a few times.
