Been there. Done that. I used different adapters, too. The camera gave me a flashing "CARD" warning.
EDIT: Out of curiosity, I looked up the Transcend warranty. I have to enter the serial number. You can imagine how small the writing is on the MicroSD card. It's on the back - tiny and gray on a black background.
