This is nothing new, but the mail has been slooow! I know some things have been mailed to me, but it's been weeks!
My mail has been great. I just received a package from California in two days.

The mail here has been really, really slow. I wrote a letter last December and haven't gotten around to mailing it yet.

I know what you mean. I have some mail that's so old, the price of stamps has gone up since I stamped the envelope. I'll have to update it if I ever mail it.
I haven't bothered to walk to my mailbox in days. Maybe that's why I think the mail is slow.

A good reason to always buy the Forever stamps.

I was just kidding about that. I have been buying those stamps.
You know what's odd? You can order a bunch of Priority boxes and get them delivered for free, but you have to pay postage to get stamps delivered.
put mail in mailbox in NY 3/8, was delivered in AZ 3/11 AM, not bad for slow mail
Somebody, please put the USPS out of business! Stop the waste! Pony Express was more efficient!

I sold a tripod on ebay and dropped it off at the PO on Feb 2 to be sent to Ohio, it arrived on March 1. The tracking kept saying “In Transit” for the longest time and stating that the package will arrive later than promised. The package was sent Priority Express.
I sent an insured package (small package) from Pennsylvania to California. 3 weeks. I don't altogether blame the USPS, more the politicians who have ruined it.
And it could be costly, too. My son received his December car loan bill from Honda about 10 days before it was due. He mailed a check the next day but it took the USPS almost 14 days to get deliver it. He was charged a late fee. I know, he could go to auto payment but he's very old school.
