I have all my bills (utility, credit card, etc) send a statement each month but I pay them electronically through my bank. A couple of the credit card companies send the statement but don't include an envelop to send the payment. Cheap bastards.

I mailed two bill payments on December 28. To date, neither party has received them. Have cancelled the checks. My son told me that one of his neighbors had just received a letter postmarked December 22.

I haven’t written a check in years, nor have I been in a bank in years. Everything online, including statements. Makes life simpler.

We are having our mail forwarded from our home in CT to us here in FL. Last week I received a Christmas card from a friend. The original postmark was Dec. 24, 2020!

Got a notice from Adorama tracking that an order had been delivered by UPS. No where to be found and the person it was delivered to wasn't anyone I knew. When I called UPS they informed me it had been delivered to a post office in Bethlehem. Well, we don't get deliveries from that post office so I knew the next step would be for them to deliver it to the Nazareth post office. Sure enough, it took another 3 days to get the package after UPS informed me it had been delivered!

Yes, it has been terrible. Not only is it slow, but many pieces are being lost. I subscribe to a professional journal and I have been only getting every other one. When I do get them they are late.

I heard on the news last week that the USPS is undergoing a major reorganization. Fewer employees as a result of early retirements and buyouts will be available for delivery, delivery will be only 4 days week, no first class mail, increased fees and longer delivery times. Initiated by the new Washington administration to reduce costs, a aid bankruptcy and bailout

What news source is that from? Here is the USPS statement about the reorganization. I don't see anything about no first class mail or 4 day a week delivery.
