Nice photo. I have two G9s & P/L lenses plus a solo Oly 12-100 f/4. In spite of the Oly ownership change I am tempted to get the Mk III. Thanks for sharing.

Isn't it nice to have a Olympus lens and have it work on a Panasonic or Olympus body for all basic functions? The same is true for a Panasonic lens. Lot of body and lens options.

Have M1-M2 and M3. Absolutely love them. Feature packed cameras and quite capable. Oly image stabilization is as good as it gets. Sigma f1.4s (16, 30, 56) are as sharp if not sharper than Oly Pro lineup. Hope they can get at least 24-26 mp sensors in the new cameras and weather sealing in the f1.8 lenses.

Yes it is. The Oly 12-100 works very well on the G9. MFT is wonderful for travel photography.

I do have the Sigma 16mm f/1.4 for low light situations and it is every bit as good as my other P/L and Oly lenses.

I have done handheld four seconds and have even seen a clean 10 second handheld by a professional using the E-M1 mkII. The mkIII has even better stabilization.

From what I understand, the newest Canon can IS up to 8 stops now. But it will cost one 4 or 5 times more than the Olympus to get it. That will be worth it for some, but just not worth it for me. I'll still be shooting with my mkII 4/3rds for less cost at 6.5 stops.

I have the Canon R5. Eight stops is not possible for me. Two stops works 100% of the time. My Keepers decline to 10% at five stops. Maybe that is just me. But don’t just accept my word or the manufacture’s claims. Test the camera yourself.

Olympus makes amazing cameras and lenses. Switched from Canon and haven't looked back.

That camera, and similar Oly models, are on my list. I plan to pull the trigger for one of them once the Covid thing dies down and I am more certain of our families economics. The ProCapture and in-camera focus bracketing features are what drew me in, but the features you mention also seem interesting.

If and when you're able to make the move, you won't be sorry Mark.

I bought the Mark III last black friday. I wanted to wait but was unsure how the transfer of the company would effect quality so I went ahead and bought it. It is definitely a camera to get use to but already being an Olympus user I am already use to the menu system. I also have a TG-5 and an older E-PM2 which takes amazing pictures. The stabilization of the Mark III is amazing.
