This Friday morning Jean helped me hang up five photographs. They are all in 8” by 10” frames and they look good. They are hung on a tall wood wall to the Southern end of our main living room.
Maybe a couple more of my photographs will be hung in due course.
But, and here’s the rub, I have hundreds. In the main, taken with our Nikon D750, and while not all of them are of a standard to grace our walls, many are. Far too many to display on the wall.
So what do you do? I know that many of you are superb photographers and take some brilliant photographs. I frequently add my comment to a great shot!
But how do you display them?
Or how do you share them?

I just revised my website so I can easily post new photos. I just posted a series of "Chicago" yesterday and put up 60 that otherwise would never have seen the light of day. Mainly for family and friends.
I have tried the digital picture frames but they only seem to last a year or so.
A variant of this to display pictures on your pc monitor as a slide show/screen saver when monitor(s) not in use.
As I have 2 monitors, I wanted independent displays, not the same on both. The only solution I found was DisplayFusion. Product has lots of other stuff but for my purposes it allows configuring 2 (maybe more) monitors to use my pics from 2 different directories at independent rates on the monitors. Delay for when the screensaver show starts, rate of change, ways to fade, name of pics, etc, etc all configurable. Works exactly as it should. Great solution for about 30.00 as I recollect.
Again, thanks to you all for your wonderful ideas and actions. Still sitting on the fence, so to speak, and I will, of course, involve Jeannie! Soon the decision will be made!

Let us know what Jeannie said!
Try Shutterfly. Or Walgreens. You can upload to their sites and share albums with others. Works for me. And they are both free.

Jeannie knows that I have asked you all for your ideas but has yet to read your answers!
I recently had a dinner party for my COVID “bubble” and put a bunch of stuff on a thumb drive that I plugged into my 58” TV and recycled through the images while we socialized before dinner.
I use several methods to view mine. I have a ‘gallery’ of about 10 along the corridor that I rotate from time to time. I also have one of those digital picture frames in my home office. I also have the background on my computer set up as a slide show. It displays different images on each of the three screens. I have an sd card plugged into my 56” tv and sometimes I’ll turn it on as a slide show if we are not watching a program.
However, probably my favorite method is to go back over my ‘mini theme’ posts here on UHH. I get to see my favorite pictures and read the encouraging comments from my fellow hoggs.

You need a device like the following, you load all the photo's you want on it and it shows as a slide show. There are many devices to choose from. This is only one of many. This one is 8X10 inches. Many sizes to choose from.

I create video shows to display on my TV or share with friends and family. I use Pro Show to add dynamic transitions, visual effects, and music. Pro Show has been replaced by its parent company but can still be used without their support. It was a stand-alone program and the new one is subscription but you can pause the payments for a period of non-use. I think.

I use three 15.6" Nix motion activated, remote controlled digital photo frames with litterally thousands of pics on each. They run 24/7 and like mentioned I never know what I will see as I walk by. I may see scanned photos from my childhood, long past family, cruise pics, beach or mountain scenes, but always something that brings back a flood of wonderful memories. I just keep adding to the memory cards and my beloved memories make me . . . .

I use airplay from my iMac to show a small subset to my 55 inch tv in the family room. Our house has very little wall space because of windows so my prints are mainly in the hall way and my office. I generally print 16x20 or 8x12. Apple photos allows me to share up to 5k images for free through iCloud without affecting my iCloud storage.

Try a smart TV with USB input for a hard drive or flash drive. Many of them have automatic slide show features. Some let you present smartphone images via an app on the smartphone and WiFi.
have your friends pick what they like. pick so many to show and have them rate them maybe one through five. many tastes are different but should give you a good idea of what average people like to view good luck
