I would say, snowshoeing - without ski poles wouldn't get you too far, Cindy?
However, it might be better that way, so the wolves can live and maintain the natural ballance?
Wolves were here long time before we came in trying to play Gods with our little brains?

Happy landscape winter photography!

Wolves were there for a long time until Europeans moved in and made them extinct in your area. Too bad you have to shoot them just for existing. Perhaps better to figure how to live with them since you're in their woods.

Outstanding, Cindy. We don't have wolves or snowshoes down here. We do have mud boots, waders, and gators, though.

Nice shots! Just the thought of Snowshoes makes my Glutes throb - and I did it in days when I was very fit. As to Wolves, a small pack of the imported Canadian Wolves can destroy a viable cattle ranch in these days.

The numbers don’t show that. Out of approx 4.6 million head of livestock in Montana in 2019, The Montana Livestock Loss Board paid ranchers for claims on around 400 animals killed by predators. According to the Board, the number killed by Grizzlies was almost double the number killed by wolves.

Snowshoeing with poles would slow you way down and be more of a pain in the ass then without....I never take poles while snowshoeing. And as for the wolves....unless you live where they were reintroduced...you have no clue what is happening to the area and people effected by it.

To bad they didn't stay extinct and I am doing my part to get them back that way, as I have said before, if you don't live in the area's that are effected by them..you have no clue what is happening.
