Thank you. That's what I like about this group, everyone is so nice!

They really are like a second family. We were at Walt Disneyworld when Hurricane Matthew and Irma hit both years Disney was closed for a few days.

During Hurricane Irma we were staying at Walt Disney's All Star Movie Resort. What a mess we woke up to and the parks were closed for a couple of days.

Karin, I don't have many images of trees, other than forests. However, I did find these 2 shots.

The first was taken a few winters ago. I was on a group nature walk in a local state forest. The day was miserable - cold and dreary, no birds or wildlife worth shooting. I got it into my head to shoot upward.

The second was taken on a short walk at the Grand Canyon. People all over the place! I spotted this lone tree, and just went for it.

Nice ones, Mike. I very recently reviewed the shots I took at the Grand Canyon several years ago so your second one really caught my eye

This one is from several hundred feet away. I spotted it through the trees with all its leaves right after a big snow storm.

P1 Love the way you framed this Red Farmer

Very nice photos to start this challenge. I love photographing trees as we have so many cottonwoods on the farm.

This is one of my favorites of a photo I took of horses in a cottonwood forest.

P2 I love this very much indeed Lorima

Great start and thanks for hosting, Karin. I'm sure you're
going to see all kinds of trees.

I have quite a few, so in no particular order, here are some gnarly ones.

An assortment of species and places.

If you don't want to trek to see the Washingtonia filifera, they are planted as street trees in parts of Palm Springs, CA.

Really nice variation, Sak! Love them!
