Just before our November lockdown we were allowed to meet in a group of up to six people "outdoors". Family are 90 miles away (90 miles is a lot further in the UK than in the US!) so we occasionally meet half way at pub for lunch. Pubs were closed but one enterprising pub (nicely half way) erected this "tepee" in the grounds. Well ventilated, it was classed as "outdoors" so the five of us were able to enjoy a family lunch; fortunately, being October, the tepee was heated! Pub staff came in to take orders & delivered them to our table.

In a situation like that, "ventilation" hardly matters. Unless there are huge fans pushing and pulling, all those little Covid guys are floating around in the air.
