I am interested in purchasing an RV class C. Still doing my research. I don’t want any slide outs. I also learned is important to have a back up Generator.

I moved from a class C to a small towable, because I didn't like to have to disconnect power, water and sewer and had to secure.everything movable to go anywhere. I've had 4 towables and 2 class Cs. And if I have to tow a car with a Class A, B, C, why not tow the.camper?

What good is pixel resolution when your camera still has a mirror?

I would probably go mirrorless but I’m a cranky old coot who is very resistant to change. Just kidding. I have a good deal invested in camera lenses and film and memory cards.

I went mirrorless in 1965 with a Kodak Instamatic 126. Then came 110s and a Yahica rangefinder. Then everything went downhill with my first SLR in 1978 and finally DSLR in 2005. So I have lived the Glory Days of Mirrorless already!! lol

For all of the mirrorless fans who think it's not a real camera if it has a mirror (nudge nudge, Paul) , or one is not a real photographer if their camera has a mirror. Well, here's two of my mirrorless cameras that I've used since before mirrorless became a thing.

Disclaimer-The Leica does have a small mirror used only for focusing.

Niiiiice. The Leica IIIf reminds me of my uncle. He had a later M2 and used Double-X and Kodachrome films in it.

Arf, Arf - every rangefinder camera is a mirrorless, along with a scad of bridge cameras... Point taken!

While there is no mirror in the image path, the rangefinders that I am familiar with use a couple mirrors, and combine the view from two separate lenses into one.

The truth will be mirrorless will become the best and norm. That doesn't mean my D500 will take worse pics. I won't have to sell all my equipment and buy new. Lol. Most of us own equipment that far exceeds our level of ability. True fact. Lol

True, and extend that thought to the software also.

But if you don't have tools that exceed your ability, you will not be able to advance your skills.

That was my point. It is an SLR! Just a joke. Apparently you are the only on that caught on.

Sure, luck means a lot in photography. Having a camera that still has a mirror is bad luck.

Methinks there is more smoke than mirrors in this thread . . .

Just don't let any smoke out of your camera!!
All electronics work on the smoke principle.
If you let the smoke out, they don't work anymore.

This is so very true but I imagine that a D500 and D850 have more capabilities than the average person will ever master. I also cut gems and understand completely what you are saying. No matter what you need better equipment than you to get better.
