Well done! Beetle looks like mine used to!
In over 8 inches of snow, my beetle sat on top of the snow; the wheels and suspension hung down and did not reach the ground and the car was not going anywhere.

That happened to me during Storm Larry when we lived in CT.

Fun shot of a fun car! Very good set Elliott.
I think my VW wouldn't climb a hill this steep. Wanted to have holes in the floor to push it uphill so the trucks wouldn't blow their diesel horn at me to get outa' their way.

Ha, we had a '67 Dodge Dart when we were married and eventually we had to use layers of mats to minimize the water coming through the floor holes. I never had a VW but my brother-in-law loved his Beetle.

I had 3 VW's. One was a VW Wagon and my wife and I took it everywhere from SO Cal.–Mexico, Texas, Northern Cal, Vegas, N'orleans.
We had a hard time trying to find Mt. Carmel near Waco,TX. No one in Waco would admit it was there, they were too embarrassed. All we found there were small grave markers of the people who died there, plus ashes, a burned motorcycle and an empty pool.
It was a sad day to know they were burned out–children, as well! The gov't could have waited for the leader to go to ton. Haste makes waste! The people should have known it was a cult. But people are people. Burning and poison are the worst ways to die. I've seen both as a funeral director/ambulance driver.

A forestry consulting firm in Seattle used VW Bugs for their field crews because they could literally go anywhere.
When I worked in the Sahara desert, we used VW Bugs fitted with huge sand tires and low 15psi pressure. They literally flew over any kind of terrain.
