The rise in gas prices currently is simply because fewer people are using their vehicles and even the use of trucks is down due to the COVID epidemic. Now, I don't even blame Trump for the rise in gasoline prices, although the underlying cause of it is the fact that he incompetently handled, or didn't handle, the COVID19 epidemic and allowed 400,000 Americans to die of the disease without addressing it.
BTW - The Keystone Pipeline is carrying zero oil at the moment because it was never completed and the fact that the construction is halted has no effect on the flow of oil.

The gas prices are up. Since the announcement of vaccines .

Prices were been down the last year not because of anything trump did or did not do but entirely because of tremendous loss of demand due to pandemic . Thus caused great oversupply if crude and drop in futures price.

Now with development of vaccines the futures market is driving price back up in anticipation of increased demand as people may drive more

Anyone thing gas prices have anything to do with give policy with right or left is a dunce ..

Please support these assertions. Now they appear only like talking points to smear the former President.

I mean after all consider that the President pushed a vaccine development process that shortened it, to combat the pandemic. Selected citizens began receiving their vaccine shot during his presidency.

If he's so great and thoughtful about his handling of the epidemic, why did he not leave a distribution plan in place for the incoming party.???? Seems that he was back in the schoolyard with the only ball and he left with it because he was loosing . How do you figure that this will help . That's a very good signs of incompetence . As always there's only one person he looks out for ,HIMSELF. Always did and will do so till he dies. Whenever that ?????LE felt threatened he would throw the first available person under the bus to save his own ass.

Why do you say such stupid things? Given how you demented want to go after not only him but his family as well he could have pardoned his family members and saved them the expense of defending themselves against demonic witch hunts...

You are a sad example of an old man who simply can't move on.

The national average price has increased 3 cents from a week ago...and is still down 15 cents from a year ago.

My one experience of Texas was in 1959 when I spent two months in a Mexico City boarding house with Texans in their early 20's, same age as I was. We were all attending classes at the University of Mexico. I had a lot of trouble understanding what these Texas boys were saying. Were they speaking English?

They invited a bunch of girls from New Orleans to a party. I spoke to these girls in my customary NYC way. The Texans were horrified, given their typical Southern practice of putting women (*some* women) on a pedestal. The girls loved it. They were sick of being perched on a pedestal.

Cali probably has the highest gas prices in the nation. We had a .20 increase in the last month. Maybe its to offset businesses leaving and the lock down losses. One can only imagine. At the cheap self serve
Regular 3.19 per gallon

Comparing what you pay, compared to what I pay, in what I contend is the real California, you seem to be paying around .40 a gallon too much.

Here's another aspect of the effects of Biden's EO regarding the Keystone Pipeline. Again, we are off to a bad start...

Copy and pasted from:
Brian Preston PJMedia –

“Canceling the Keystone XL also hurts the environment. The pipeline would have moved between 800,000 and 830,000 barrels of oil per day safely, off our roads and rails, from where it’s produced to where it can be refined. That was to be Texas, which leads the world in the clean and safe refining of oil into products the modern economy depends on every single day. So some of the jobs lost were in Texas, about which Biden will not care, as Texas did not vote for him.

With the pipeline canceled, Canada will find other customers for its oil. That’s likely to be China and India, two of the world’s fastest-growing and most energy-hungry economies. Instead of being transported safely via the Keystone XL pipeline, the oil will be transported by trucks and ships — both of which emit far more gunk into the atmosphere than pipelines, and both of which are far more prone to accidents and spills. It’s likely to be refined outside the United States, where standards do not match U.S. EPA standards.

Joe Biden killed thousands of jobs, hurt relations with a close ally, and hurt the environment on his first day in the job, while also violating his promise to put science first.”

I've been to a few states. Only in Texas did I see the state flag flying alone, with no stars and stripes, almost every where I looked. I also wonder about a state that sent both Cruz and Gohmert to DC. Of course, I guess that's one way to get them out of Texas.

It's coming. Gas prices are already up $.40 cents a gallon. Most Hoggers are elderly and on fixed incomes. Elections have consequences and they will soon see their discretionary income dry up. Forget emotions, and think practically, it's always the Democrats that beat on the poor, middle class and elderly. They talk up a good BS storm, but always screw the minorities, poor, and middle class. They're opening the borders again. That hurts American minority workers and the like. As long as they look compassionate to the world, they're ok with that. The Green Deal is one of the biggest hoaxes to ever be attempted on the world. I will not be responding to the Dem Kool Aid drinkers.

Global warming/climate change is indeed the biggest hoax ever.

If our CO2 emissions were acutely causing global warming as we are told (only 7 more years left till the end of the world as we know it), then wouldn't you expect global temperatures to show a decline after 2020 which saw a 20% decline in global emissions because of the pandemic restrictions?

No, not the case because those emissions do not control and barely barely influence the natural climate change occurring. Yet the alarmists and Green New dealers want to put into effect permanently exactly the same pandemic restrictions we have had going forward forever.
