Some of the $ still goes toward supporting the store and its employees. Less true for big box stores, maybe. So support smaller businesses seems to be the message there.
Many people will use the $ toward paying their rent and other dire expenses. That is if they have not been evicted already.
Unfortunately, some will just be put it in the bank. There are clearly significant problems with how this $ is sent out to people who flat out don't need it.

Very funny! One small thing tho. I like my beer - particularly Bud Light. I understand our good old American beer was bought out by a Belgium company Anheuser Busch and also some Brazilian investors. So by buying Budweiser I guess that I am contributing to a foreign entity.

It was funny. Some people just don't have a sense of humor. Heck, the second question and answer pretty much sums it up pretty succinctly anyway... the money they are giving to us is coming from taxes that they imposed on us and we paid to the government to start with.
In reality, the jokes on us. But I will gladly take the $600.00 they are going to give back to me.

Most of what I bothered to read is wrong. The US isn't importing much if any oil from Saudi Arabia anymore. Most of our produce comes from places like California, Texas and Florida. In the winter we get it from our friends in Mexico and some South American countries and that's a good thing. I'm old enough to remember when fresh fruit and vegetables couldn't be had for any price during the winter months. Not we have them year round and they're pretty good, but maybe too expensive for some. American car companies make high quality cars nowadays. It's been years since you had to buy from Japan or Korea to get a quality car. Ford, GM and Chrysler make quality cars for less than you pay for something from Asia or Europe. If you want quality buy from Taiwan not China. I know, no sense of humor. Your joke is just about 30 years behind the times.
