My mom died in 11/19. She was 98.5, and her hand is a symbol of her life.

Sorry for your loss Joe. Her hand has a lot of emotion and character. Remember the good times with those hands.Stan

Condolences
There is a country song about a father's hands, this reminds me of it.

Thank you! That was the word I couldn't think of: "Powerful." Yes, and thanks for jarring my memory
Outstanding, Joe. My mom is 92.

Dramatic work, Joe!
It looked good in color, but to me, it didn't have the same force as when I converted it into B&W

I am sorry to hear of your loss. Can you share her name? Her hand tells of a glorious life. When I lost my 20 year old son I created a wood project. If you wish, you can search, “The Photograph That Can Tell Time”. I find it very rewarding and can see it daily as it hangs on the wall.
Sorry for your loss, excellent and dramatic photo Joe!
Just remember all the love and care her hands knew in raising you, then the love that you returned. Those are the precious gifts of our memories.
Your loss is very private, but also universal.
