I am sorry to hear of your loss. Can you share her name? Her hand tells of a glorious life. When I lost my 20 year old son I created a wood project. If you wish, you can search, “The Photograph That Can Tell Time”. I find it very rewarding and can see it daily as it hangs on the wall.
Her name was Frances. She didn't value "things" but people. Everybody loved her! She had a smile for everyone she came across daily. She definitely was a life-force, a larger-than-life-personality! We always lived together, so I am fortunate to have had her from my beginning until her end: 65 years for me! I am so sorry about your son... I have replied to a lot of photos in the past several months. I retired in June. I have been a member here since 2013 - but done nothing. I figured this will give me something positive with my time and help me encourage others and get back into photography. Someone I went out with for six years discouraged me, so I gave it up for her. Anyway, I have seen your picture everywhere, and you just look like the kindliest person. Every time I see it and read your comments, I like you. Again, I am so sorry for your loss. How does one cope except step-by-step, baby steps...
