D600 then D750 with Nikon 18-35mm f3.5-4.5 used on 100% of my 361 real estate shoots in 2020.

That's a simple and very reliable setup that consistently produces revenue for me.

Happy New Year, UHHers!

If you filter and count your images in Lightroom, what surprises did you find? Do you use your own usage data to plan to sell unused lenses / cameras? Or maybe, to change the lenses you'll use more in 2021?

The circa 1981 Canon FD 200mm f/4 macro was my #1 used lens for keepers (mounted to a Sony a7II). Merging all the extended configurations, last year's #1 lens was the second most frequent in 2019, the EF 300mm f/2.8L IS II USM (mounted to an EOS 5DIII).

I don't tend to thin my collection of bodies or lenses much, just keep buying more slowly over 45 years. Though I have set a few lenses aside as possible discards.

To answer your heading question, my most used lenses for 2020 were likely my 100mm and 35mm Macro Lenses. I mostly shoot close-ups.

Hmm, I guess, mostly the lens on my IPhone 7. I have a Canon T5i, and T7i, and both were comfortable in their cases. Though I did bring out the T7 for a pic of our neighborhood Rhode Island Red chicken.

My Nikon D-7200 / 18-400 is usually on most of the time. I use my Fuji 16-55 for everything else.

I shoot with the Oly em-1 with the 14-40 2.8 PRO lens. I use this lens about 90% of the time. Great lens.

Interesting how many long or specialized lenses are top dogs. I'm more boring: top spot 24-70 2.8L II on a 5D IV or 77D. 100-400 IS II is second. Amongst my family of primes, either the 100 2.8L IS or 135L 2.0. I bought a 35 2.0 IS late in the year I've been using a lot and just ordered a used 300 2.8L IS II (my first big white) which should take over #2 if not #1. I'll likely sell my 16-35 4L IS (lack of use) and 300 4L IS being replaced.

I don't use lightroom but odds are Sigma 17-70 and Canon 10-18 as #2, Canon 24mm as #3

Most use lens is the 24-105 kit lens from my 5DIII and is now on my 5DIV. This is followed by my 100mm macro and the 70-200 f2.8.
