Well my wife picked up a Canon 1v-HS. I picked up a Levian Chocolate Diamonds Necklace and EarRings. I brought out a large $20 box of chocolate and told her it was her present. She was so mad she almost threw it at me. She was screaming, And after I spent $500 for your camera your too cheap and only bought a.............
.....Oh My G-D!! They’re beautiful. I love You. Merry Christmas.
Rule of Thumb: Make sure the gift you buy for your wife or girlfriend costs more or is much nicer/intricate than you buy for yourself.
Confucius say: Man never buy gift for wife with plug attached. Man need to move out of house!

My wife says I am impossible to shop for a gift. I said, "Why, you know where the camera store is."
Well, it does hang around the neck. So I guess it's a good substitute.

Apparently yet another example of why the State's vote count is sketchy. LOL
guess now you'll be wearing HER jewelry around YOUR neck...
I'm surprised that none of the comments suggested that the right thing to do is to contact the seller and probably have to send the camera back. It is the right thing to do after all! Just maybe the seller will have you keep it because of your honesty!
I've been hoping for a scam like that for years.
Looks like a great gem, priceless!

Looks to me, he was the 'scammee'
Do they also sell inverted tripods?
Now what will you do IF your wife says, Thank you very much and hangs that particular piece of jewelry around her neck as hers? Looks like jewelry to me too.

Here's a tip for you: Anytime something of this price showed up in our house, I knew that there was a terrific gift waiting somewhere for me. Hint, hint. My husband was always good on this one. Made it hard to argue about his purchase.

My first wife and I went broke in trying to outdo each other on purchases. She needed a new phonograph console. Of course I needed a new fly rod. She needed a new carpet. I needed a new firearm. Credit cards only go so far especially when you are a newly married young couple. We finally learned to make do and not be so needy.
I do not mean to imply this is the same thing that goes on in your house. I am just pointing out what happened in my house. It isn't always a good idea to keep up with the other spouse.
Have a Happy New Year and be Well,
