What lens do you like for this type of thing, 20mm, 35mm, 50mm?

My admiration for the photos is matched only by my admiration for your ability to to get to the places the pictures document.

Nice photos, problem is they look alike, Mesa Verde etc. Similar to a sunrise or a sun set.

Do you mean to say they all look like each other? Does #6 shot from behind Three Finger Ruin really look like the other photos? Do you mean to say that they all look like Mesa Verde, if so then I suspect you've never been to Mesa Verde.

Most of these were taken either with a 24-120 f4 Nikon or the new Z series 24-70 Nikon. You definitely want a wide angle lens of some sort. that said I've taken many with my old medium format MAmiya 7 and it's 80 mm lens (about a 42mm equivalent in 35 mm)

Thanks for posting these. I love the colors of the cliffs beyond the structure in number 6. I can get some insight into how they were built, based on the window "frames". Hopefully, ruins like these will remain for everyone to enjoy for many years to come.

Here' another view of those cliffs beyond Three Finger Ruin (#6)

Outstanding photos, wilderness. It's easy for me to say well worth the effort, but I expect you've said it too. Have a Merry Christmas!

No they're all in Utah or right at the Utah line in Northern Arizona.
