I don't understand what the issue is. I had a problem with a vender and I posted it. Am I missing something? Let's wait to see if they resolve the issue. This doesn't make sense. This was my first dealing with KEH and they handled my issue very poorly.

It happens we all have bad days just patience is required. I to fall into the same trap. I'm sure it will get worked out. Besides it is a crazy time right now

Thanks Valsmere, I appreciate your understanding.
An update, they still didn't got back to me so I called this morning and they told me that received my return package last week, but they had the package in quarantine for 48 hrs and because of the weekend is why I didn't hear from them. It sounds like this will be resolved soon.

I purchased a used Kirk collar for my Nikon 200-500 lens. When I received it, I was surprised to find out that it wasn't a Kirk collar at all, it looked like a some off brand or knockoff. I paid almost $160 for what they advertised as a Kirk NC-200-500 V2 in excellent condition (a new one sells for $210). I called them and they sent me an RMA and I sent the collar back. FedEx said that the received it. When I called to find out about my refund they weren't very nice and transferred me to a supervisor's phone mail. I left a message and have not heard back from the yet. I cancelled payment on my credit card. I will not deal with KEH in the future

I have enjoyed a good relationship with KEH. I returned a D850 and Micro-Nikkor 105 for an exchange. I had kept the camera and lens for over two months trying to work out the kinks-no luck. They sent another body and lens out ASAP. No muss no fuss!

Patience rewarded... Sometimes they get busy, as we all do, and like everyone else, they're dealing with the restraints of a pandemic. Honestly, they are among my favorite dealers for ANYthing. I'll be very surprised if they don't make the deal right.

I have had nothing but excellent customer service with KEH.Usually, I have bought used items which I have found cheaper than elsewhere including eBay.What have impressed me most with KEH is the excellent condition I have found the items they describe used and the unbeatable prize.Their rating I have found to be usually underestimating the condition of an item, maybe deliberate on their part to impress you when you receive the item and find out that it is better than advertised.Good salesman pitch! Has worked on me so far.I have bought mostly used Nikon lens filters and Camera (both Canon and Nikon) lenses from KEH. My dealings with their customer service have been nothing but REMARKABLE.I have had no issues with returning items to KEH in the past just two returned items since over a decade of many transactions with KEH.My most recent experience with KEH was when I bought a used Gitzo 1545T carbon tripod with a ballhead for about $600.It was the price and brand that sold it for me (I already had a very good not too popular chinese but stable carbon travel tripod which I coupled to a FLM 38 ball head, a setup that I am still using and happy with). When I received the Gitzo set up, I found out that it was new and unused. It was described as used because the box was was opened. I had a buyer’s remorse though and had all but sent it back.It was after a no hassle very warm conversation with the agent, that I decided to keep the items because of the excellent reception I had with the agent. He did not pressure me to keep the items but did every thing he could to make it easy returning them including sending a return shipping label.I sent them an email that I had changed my mind about returning the items and gave them reason why I was keeping the items. They were pleased and also asked me to notify them if I still changed my mind within the window period to return the items.I still have the set up till today, though I rarely use the Gitzo setup as I still use the sturdy “cheap” chinese carbon fiber tripod and the reliable FLM ballhead 98% of the time, which is a very impressive light stable setup that have served me well. You do not change it, if it is not broke!
Sorry, your experience is different from the many transactions I have had with KEH.

Great to deal with. Have bought a couple of Hasselblad lenses and accessories, always better than advertised.

Good for you, and thanks for describing the unsatisfactory customer service at KEH. I like your technique of cancelling your payment on your credit card.

They received my return and told me that they will refund the money paid within 3-5 business days.
When I receive the money, I'll remove the dispute on the credit card.

I did get my refund and I removed the dispute from my credit card.
I'm glad this is over and I don't have to deal with them or UserID or Theoria anymore.
