Mental health needs more attention and increased service from the medical and psychiatric fields and stepped up insurance coverage as well as removing the stigma associated with mental illnesses.

Don't blame the suicides solely on the Lockdowns.

The parents are just as much at fault for not paying attention to the mental health of their own kids who committed suicide and getting them help before the problem got so far out of hand.

My state has a Republican Governor who hasn't been strict enough with his Pandemic orders, but a Democratic Legislature in what used to be a very red state.

The closest border state to where I live has a Republican Governor and a Democratic Legislature but is closely following the scientific and medical findings and advice. They've recently put travel restrictions back in place, but my state still has virtually open borders, which is a problem.

When I do venture out to grocery shop about once every 3 weeks, over 75% of the plates on the vehicles in the parking lot are out of state plates.

With the out of control spread of the Covid-19 Virus it's dangerous to shop on weekends, I have to get up extra early and shop before I log on to work remotely to try to avoid potential infection from people who don't believe that the virus is a real health threat to them or others around them.

By the way, I will only work for a business in that border state even though I have to pay the non-resident taxes, and that's by choice. The minimum wage in my state is $7.25 per hour. In the border state, the minimum wage is $12.75, which goes up to $13.50 on January 1st.

Also the huge difference in unemployment benefits is substantial. In my residential state, they're tied for 26th in the country, maxing out at just over $26K. In the border state, they max out at just over $78K, and rank 1st in the country with what they can pay in unemployment benefits.

So it's well worth it for me to drive about 5 miles from home into that state for a better paying job and nearly triple the potential unemployment benefits should I need them!

The higher wages more than offset the non-resident taxes I pay, and the better unemployment benefits I could get if I was to lose my job at any point in the future is worth driving 5 miles South, instead of 15-20 miles north for lower wages. I'm talking about anywhere from $5.00 per hour to $15.00+ per hour higher for my experience and knowledge level in my field.
