They say that people "love a mystery". I have never paid much attention to hood ornaments so I really can't guess here. But I would have thought that any long-time "car guy" would welcome this. Judging by responses so far, I must have been wrong.
Yes, they kind of surprised me also.
Thanks to all for looking & for your responses. Seems that most of you want to know what it's from right at the start. Good to know.
This one is from a 1953 Kaiser Dragon 4-Door.
Wow! Had no idea that this line ever existed. Not bad looking for '53.
FYI - J.C Whitney web site has been relaunched as CarParts.com
FYI the J.C. Whitney web site has been relaunched as CarParts.com Same company new name.
Love the hood ornaments, KT. Either way as long as you follow up with the right answer and car photo. Keep them coming. Would not have guessed a Kaiser, but now that you show it, of course I remember that.
Nice job on the vehicle photos too. Keep ‘em coming.

Oh, no now I will squander money and I do not have a garage to work in so the tool will be in my bedroom... an addiction to cars ...
correction... not tools in my bedroom, rather more tools. OK CarParts.com here I come!! Yep, and they have an educational section on types of brake pad materials.
Now that is cool, need to do new pads for my brakes. At 208,000 my 1999 Isuzu Rodeo needs TLC, runs and runs like a top. A SUV... what a let down for a guy who has always had convertibles!!
