Wonderful winter scenes...we're still waiting for some meaningful snow to come our way. Haven't had a real winter in several years!!
Thank you Jim - I agree, snow is wonderful to look at, much harder to handle as you get up in age and the bones just can't do all the things they used to be easily able to - we have had extremely mild winter over the last years, here is hoping that the trend continues - I can see into the mountains from my "office" and see Mount Baker with its snow, and that is just wonderfully sufficient for me! Have a great week coming up - Joe

Nice set, Joe! I particularly like #s 5 and 10. We had some of that last night, after a warm spell that melted any previous accumulations.
Thank you John - I also like your two choices, # 5 because of the contrast of wood and snow and the resulting pattern, and 10 with the little streak of yellowish/orange grasses that remind me of Iceland. With you being in Quebec City, I am sure you are going to get your fair share of this stuff for a real winter wonderland. Enjoy your upcoming week - Joe

Somewhat nostalgic but indeed poetic and beautiful pictures, Joe!

Thanks Eugene - I like your take on this: Iguess we are going to live more and more under the mantle of nostalgia - as we get older and particularly now when our movements are so drastically curtailed. Joe
Beautiful! What is that white stuff, again?

Thank you David, glad you like these images - the white stuff, oh, you probably don't know that down in southerly Texas, it's really a northern thing that we keep for ourselves, but, I let you in on the secret: it's full name is "slightly narcotic overcooled water" - people don't snuff it, they "glide" on it, can give a real high! don't tell!
