Sorry, but the original post was to remind us of the Kennedy assassination, how we felt and how quickly the time has gone by. The incident you speak of is a sad event but has no connection to to the other.

Making a comment about punctuation does little towards the fact an American serviceman wife killed a you man in motor bike, then rushed back to America to evade justice in an English court of law.
That is why there is a growing hostility to wards Americans in the UK

Please read your reply again. I recognize that there are often differences in our use of the English language but your use of phrases like: “...serviceman wife killed a you man in motor bike...” don’t make sense to me.

I was in High School when this happened, if you watch the Zapruder Tape which is graphic and brutal the President's Head immediately rocks back with a circular ring of skin, blood, brain and bone rocking back with his head, the Laws of Physics indicates a shot to the front of the head...when I was leaving Viet Nam in 1969 I told them I wanted to keep My Rifle, when they asked me " WHY ? " I told them to Fight the Real Enemy in Washington D.C....I trust the US Government about as far as I can throw Mt. Rushmore...

A number of years ago there was a great book by the name of 'Case Closed' written by Gerald Posner that addresses all of the many conspiracy theories that have taken route since the assassination. Using the latest developments in forensic science not available at the time Posner concludes that Oswald acted alone, and as for the Warren Commission, that it came to the right conclusions but for the wrong reasons. There is also an explanation based upon good and reliable forensic pathology about the Zapruder film and its depiction of what appears to be a shot from the front, but really wasn't.

As a retired gunsmith of som e 60 years, I had 2 gunshops for all those years and was active in shooting, espacially rifles I can say that a Carcano was not capable of making those shots, especially shooting downhill!! So, I'm skeptical of Oswald making the shots! But that's just me, I think he was the patsy!!

President Kennedy is gone. His assassin was also murdered. The killer was caught and placed in jail. I really think that the President should be mourned and remembered for what he accomplished and what he attempted to make right with this country. I was born in 1961. I don’t remember that day.
