Just got out of a hospital (Arizona) and noticed a sign in the ER, masks with a valve are not allowed. So they don't like them either.

If you are infected, wearing a mask will filter out contaminated droplets from your exhaled breath. If your mask has a valve, your exhaled breath will go right through it without being filtered.

Not at all actually, they have been around for a few years as a snorkelling mask, they are fantastic for that, no fogging easy breathing and never fill up with water.

I would not wear it around as a COVID mask as it does not filter your exhale in any manner at all which defeats the purpose for COVID protection.

You must not have paid much attention to their information- it filters both intake and exhaust using identical filters.

yep I saw that after I posted, I have the snorkel versions which don't filter anything and that was what I was referring too, these with the filters would be quite impressive, especially for wood shops
