I don't think I'll be buying one of these, but I can see the benefit. Reading about them online, they seem to be well-liked.

Imagine how that fogs up your glasses. At that price you could buy a case or 500 regular surgical masks.

Except for the price, I'd get one just to be as obnoxious as possible. But then...

At first I thought it was the Onion, or the Babylon Bee, but no, they're serious.

Surgical Burqas next?

Ken, no one really knows but with at least two vaccines on the horizon there's hope that we'll be able to return to "normal" in 12-24 months. Distributing the vaccines will be challenging due to the very low temperatures required for transportation.

Stan, thanks for the great idea. Someone beat me to it. That's how I ended up with mine. I've had it since the beginning of this plague back in March.

My son has an outfit like that, and he hasn't gotten Covid-19.

For obvious reasons, they're not doing much testing on the over-65 crowd, the ones who need it most. It will be interesting to see how well these vaccines work.

Not at all actually, they have been around for a few years as a snorkelling mask, they are fantastic for that, no fogging easy breathing and never fill up with water.

I would not wear it around as a COVID mask as it does not filter your exhale in any manner at all which defeats the purpose for COVID protection.

Looks more like a mini-sub with periscope checking their "six o'clock" position.

I have a 3M Industrial/Lab half face mask with P100* filter packs and a six pack of the use & lose face shields.
One of my doctors took down the info and said he might order one because the hospital/medical center was rationing the N95s so he had to sometimes use one for multiple days. It was my podiatrist. The old rule was use it for one patient, toss and replace. Of course pre-Covid they often didn't use a mask at all for many things. In the OR they might toss and replace multiple times during a long procedure. And the ER people used several masks everyday also.
