Wow!!! And then again WOW!!! Now wait a darn minute...
A woman in China has a baby every 54 seconds. We must find that women and make her stop.
It's called a REDUNDANT DEATH.

We have a female weather "forecaster" who says "we should be at 58 degrees", or whatever the average temp is, every day. I wonder if she knows how the average temp is calculated?
"DonB" It depends weather or whether or not she is right.

Yup, wording is everything?
(I wrote to a local TV station asking if High Schoolers were writing their articles.
I never received a reply.)
You found some high schoolers who could write?

I retired in June 2007 and most of my students either typed, uh! I mean "keyboarded" their stuff on a computer/word processor or printed (and many didn't print very well) everything. So the last few years I gave lessons on cursive, required all home work to be be in cursive unless it was printed out from a computer/word processor and gave extra points for at least trying to do cursive. Just enough extra points that say a "B" paper got a "B+" when done in cursive.
I explained that one advantage was speed when taking lecture notes unless they were one of those rare people fast enough to take lecture notes on a laptop etc. Many of them caught on and thanked me for teaching them cursive. A few of our new/young English teachers when I retired could not write cursive and one didn't seem to even be able to read it very well. She would send notes back asking what they said.
I had one student who gave me a special thanks. It seems her Grandparents who lived in Mexico and were fluent in both English and Spanish and sent letters to her and the other Grandchildren often and only wrote in cursive, refused to print or use a computer/word processor leaving the student and other Grandchildren to have to figure out what their notes and letters said or get someone else to read to them. Basically she was thrilled that now she could read their letters with no difficulty and even pleased them very much when she started to answer their letters - in cursive.

That surely makes it hard on her husband. What's he got ? To finish in about 10 seconds every minute; probably gets totally dehydrated in the first 15 minutes, eh ? I know (of course) that she might have more than 1, and that they "take turns", LoL.....
