That is a beautiful piece of furniture. I used to turn some photographs into clocks. That was fun but tiring.

Thanks Scruples. I had a neighbor who did clocks. He'd occasionally ask me to face joint and thickness some wood pieces. He found some beauties.

I have a thing for wood grain and patterns in stone. Now if I could just afford to have a house done all in nice grain wood and stone.

You and me both. The first time I went to Hearne's Hardwoods in Pa. with a friend we were in heaven. We got out of the truck and a gentleman came over and asked if we needed help. We told him it was our first visit and he offered to show us around. After a 2+ hour tour we wanted to buy it all. Once we gathered what we could afford we went to the office to pay. The woman who took the money explained our luck. Our tour guide had been the owner of the place. Visit the website when you have time and drool for a bit.

What a great skill set to have! I can put together an IKEA bookcase without too much trouble. It’s inspiring to see how creative Hoggers can be in fields other than photography. Thanks for sharing.

For many years I watched all the woodworking TV shows. Once I retired I figured I had plenty of time to fix all the mistakes I make. Fixing mistakes is my best skill set.

Thanks very much for commenting Clark.

Gorgeous. I, too, dabble in woodworking so I know that you definitely didn't skimp when it came to buying wood.
