... so I took a picture of what I finished today. The wood is Bubinga except for the top edges which is Ebony. The bottom is lined with cedar.

That is absolutely beautiful Bill. I'm a woodworker too, but have not done anything in a couple years. Been to busy traveling. I have done some turnings from bubinga. It is a beautiful wood and the ebony was a great choice for the accents. GOOD JOB! photographing it to!

I really appreciate the compliment Stan. I almost goofed. I sprayed the interior with shellac. Just before starting to spray I remembered to pull the cedar out first. It would have looked good, with no nice cedar scent.

I had laid off for a while with the carcass of the armoire sitting in the corner of the garage under a tarp. Once I got that finished I started to get back into tuning up the tools and cutting wood.
