You are most welcome. This challenge has been fun to see what everyone comes up with. Lighting can be such a challenge! I never remember to take my ND filter with me! Bad Sharon! LOL! I just got a smaller camera Canon T7I. I have the MIOPS triggers so I can use my phone to connect to the camera. I am hoping to photograph lightening next spring. It will also trigger with a sound or movement, etc. Also am learning to do timed water drops. Lots to learn there! LOL! I finally switched to milk instead of water and at least got things closer to what I want but can't get the crown droplets yet... Practice, Practice, Practice! LOL!

I made up an abstract from several droplets that looked to me like dancers.

The second picture here.... funny story... I dragged John out to get the sunrise. He was up much later than I, sitting around the fire. After dragging him out of bed (can't go alone because of the moose and wolves) I dressed properly for the very hungry mosquitoes... John... not so much..."I'll be fine" was his words. Lucky for him, the sunrise was not very exciting and after about 10 long minutes or so we headed back to towards the camp in the ATV... The sunrise now behind us... He was not wasting much time as he was trying to out race the hungry crowd! As we passed the row of trees I turned around....next words "Stop!!!" Good thing I had hold of my camera equipment! Because he listened to me! LOL! I didn't even take my helmet off! Took a few quick shots and we were soon on our way. Once he saw the pictures I got, he stopped grumbling! ;-) And... by the way... next morning...he wore long pants and a jacket!
You are most welcome. This challenge has been fun... (show quote)

Pg 27 - OMGosh, Sharon! Both of these images are awesome!

I'm a sucker for sunrises, so that one with the sun's rays
streaming through the trees is magnificent.

And your milk drop photography is mind blowing...
especially your post processing work...terrific job,
Sharon. I am truly impressed!

It is called Spring Lake and I have a lot of pics of many sunrises there. I don't have to drag John out as it is along the highway. This is only about a 4 min drive from the camp. I have captured these two men a couple times. Next year I will ask them for their email so I can send them a couple pics.

Take care!

Just beware of wolves in sheep clothing...

When Sharon first posted this challenge, I immediately
thought of a challenge posted way, way back...not sure
when, but it was about "refraction," and to get a good
"refraction," you have to use some good light.

Very cool working out how to get some refracted light!

Thanks so much, Sally. That was a fun challenge!

My last "volley" and you've probably seen these. Without the rising sun, these would be nothing - even fog (Sharon?!) couldn't steal this show. Sharon thanks so much for hosting.

Pg 30 - Awesome series, Pat. As you know, I am particularly
drawn to sunrises, and when you throw in a pier, it's an
automatic winner in my book. Excellent images.
