Hi All....Here's a few more photos from my last construction site project, taken during the (darn) pandemic shut-down. Took a lot of photos.....but decided to render these in B&W....reflecting the strength and determination of the subject and construction crews. (Yes, I'm guilty of some "sky manipulation", but done to affect the compositions). Hope you enjoy..... My only regret is, due to the pandemic shut-down, I missed the final pour of the top floor :-)

Great shots, but there isn't enough money in the world to get me up on one of those buildings in progress. If it wasn't for my love of skiing, I'd never have the intestinal fortitude to get on a chair lift!

Great photos. I can't believe they are working during a lightning storm.

Interesting pictures. I hope they got extra pay for working in a lightening storm. I thought that the Unions had enough clout to protect their workers? I guess that we are in for a new age of get it done at any cost.

Ron, not sure you are old enough to remember ChildCraft Books. They were a sort of a very sophisticated set of encyclopedias for children, there were a dozen or so volumes plus two large books with large (maybe 10x16) full page, beautiful B&W images. One was focused on industry and one on art/music as I recall. That’s the first time I saw images of a steel mill or a full symphony orchestra. Your images remind me of them and are of the same excellent quality. Anyone else remember ChildCraft?

I went to Ebay and there are several sets listed. It was interesting to look at the various editions. This is one of those things that you could pay quite a bit for it on Ebay or get it for very dollars at your Goodwill.

Hi 2Dragons; there might not be enough money.....but if your did this everyday, I'm sure you would develop enough intestinal fortitude like my friend in the picture....no worries
(These (rough) shots were taken from the 55 floor on another site.....being prep-ed for a future UHH post)

Good luck skiing this season
