Been to upper Antelope Canyon many years ago and was one of my favorites. Your shot is outstanding. Wish I lived out west and could takes advantage of even seeing these sights let alone photographing.
My family arrived in Arizona in 1872. My father was born in the Arizona territory. I have shot photos in AZ since 1952 Yours I would place in the top 10% of that type of Az photo.
KEEP SHOOTING!!!
lovely image - can you share where in the Canyon it is?

It would be impossible for me to describe. The water levels were incredibly low so I don’t know how long it will be accessible. They were dropping by 4 inches each day

were you backpacking or rafting? North Rim or south rim? above Phantom ranch or further downstream?

Having lived in Northern Arizona for over thirty years has given me an opportunity to capture some magnificent landscapes. Covid has rendered me home so I have been out exploring my hood. I recently came upon a beautiful slot canyon the is normally submerged. The Southwest is suffering from a debilitating drought so with the water tables so low, new treasures are being uncovered. Many images of slot canyons have surfaced but I seriously doubt that you have ever seen any images from this one.I titled this image the Heart of the Canyon because first of all, it resembles a heart but also because it lies deep within the Grand Canyon. Thanks for having a look. If you are on instagram you can see my bodies of work. Feel free to follow me @kathleenwcroft THX

Very impressive, looks like a heart indeed, but beyond that “the new treasures” unveiled just goes to show that nothing is what it seems. To quote Paul Simon, “one man’s ceiling is another man’s floor”.
Good grief, what a discovery! Your experience may be the only good thing that's come from our endless drought. I take it you didn't find any crushed beer cans lying around in the water. Seems like no matter how remote a spot I think I've found in NM, there's always a beer can to remind me I'm one of a string of visitors. I've never been in a slot canyon but have seen many photos--yours is exceptional.
Stunning! I think the color adds so much. It's hard to mess with perfection!
Mes hommage...
