Having lived in Northern Arizona for over thirty years has given me an opportunity to capture some magnificent landscapes. Covid has rendered me home so I have been out exploring my hood. I recently came upon a beautiful slot canyon the is normally submerged. The Southwest is suffering from a debilitating drought so with the water tables so low, new treasures are being uncovered. Many images of slot canyons have surfaced but I seriously doubt that you have ever seen any images from this one.I titled this image the Heart of the Canyon because first of all, it resembles a heart but also because it lies deep within the Grand Canyon. Thanks for having a look. If you are on instagram you can see my bodies of work. Feel free to follow me @kathleenwcroft THX

Magnificent! I toured several slot canyons there last year and loved them and the photo opportunities.

An absolutely super nice shot. You should be and undoubtedly are proud of this.
A beautiful capture. Your comment of the water table made me think this was in Lake Powell.
