This was not meant to be a political statement. According to Norse Mythology three world wide winters with no summers would be the next part of the legend. Remember, in mythology, "near" is a nebulous concept.
What I hope to do is continue posting Norse Mythology, with some excursions that fit my fancy, over the next few weeks or months.

That is one big black bird. I can see why Odin is keeping an eye on him. 😀 A fun shot.

Very good Jack, I think it would look better with a shadow under his feet to anchor him down. The only thing to me that lets the composite down is that his legs and feet are black and the rest of him is light.. Love the bird and the dog..

That's a gorgeous tree as background. I particularly like that it's filling the frame. Val has pointed out the one area of concern, especially if relative critter size is an artistic statement

Thanks Val I never seem to remember shadows but I will work on that. His legs are actually encased in knee high black leather boots but you are right I could change them to brown and it would improve the image.
