Sometimes as I view the summited photos here I long for the places that are shone. The mountains and rivers and castles and the ability of the photographers. An then I walk through my small woods in which the fall colors shine through and I say to my self "you are a lucky man. In these photos the first two are a euonymus tree-bush that I could see the red sitting there alone through the trees and I had to see what it was and this is what I found. The next six are what was given to me to enjoy. You might notice the blocks under the bench in number six. That is because age makes sitting lower is uncomfortable.# 9 is out of place because it was taken in the spring and is our cat that thinks it is a dog and followers me everywhere. That brings ue to the last photo and I leaf you here. Thanks.

Lovely photos and you do live in a beautiful area. My favorite is the last picture of the leaf. Well done for all.
Dennis
Simply beautiful scenes, very well captured.
Nice work Spike!
Nice set, I'll go for the second to the last with the cat and the red flowers
The Cat ! 👀 Im saving a copy!
First class fall set, Spike!
These are all beautiful captures with excellent colours and compositions. I found some of them were not super sharp. You could probably increase the sharpness by making sure that you set your shutter speed at least 1/ISO. The effect you obtained for the shot with the cat is almost mystical. Lovely compositions all. Please stay well and keep on sharing the good work.

Spike, Yes, you are very lucky to walk and create lovely images. Thanks for sharing and stay well and safe. Stan
I really like the first two. I found when shooting fall colour that the images I liked best contained a spot of brilliance, not a frame full of brilliance.
Nice series, Spike. It’s a lucky man who owns a woods.
These are beautiful photos of a beautiful place, Spike. Thanks for sharing your woods with us.
