Giving credit to the lily, I have one exactly like it. Named Cherokee. Wish I had those pads. Thought they added to the big picture. Better shot than I have every gotten of mine. Well done...

Limited and pure color pallette, simple image, balanced composition, technically sharp and well-rendered = very elegant image. My guess is that the winner was a picture ot the judge's granddaughter. Good job, good show!

Water lillies are one of my favorite things to photograph. To me this photograph emotes a strong sense of peace and silence. I can see it in a large frame on an empty wall. Congratulations, beautiful!
