Spent last week in Blowing Rock, Asheville and Sylva going down the Blue Ridge Parkway. One of the locations we wanted to photograph was the Linn Cove Viaduct on the Blue Ridge Parkway. A funny backstory on trying to get an exact location for photographing. My wife found a photographer on the Internet that told us about a spot just off the Parkway. We had to climb up a very muddy path and navigate some pretty slippery boulders to get to it. Needless to say we made it on top of that boulder and as we were there, a man comes climbing up to us and then says," Hey, are you the guy that ask for directions?"He recognized me from my Facebook page. Anyway, we got the shot we wanted and then slid down the hill. These images were taken with my IPhone 8plus with attached Moment 18mm wide lens.

Great photos and story. Amazing "coincidence" that you actually met the man who had directed you to that spot. You could have gone there on a different day, or even missed him by 5 minutes on that same day, or worn a mask that would have prevented him from even recognizing you...

Great work, you can make a pano with an I-phone, and a very good one. My favorite is the last one with the rock in the foreground.
