I just watched a tutorial by Aaron Nace in regards to the new Adobe sky replacement tool. According to him it is out and ready to use. I don't have it. I checked my update status on Adobe and I am up to date. I had read online an announcement from Adobe that it would be out on the 18th or 19th but not here. Any idea as to why I wouldn't have it yet?

I downloaded them yesterday. No problems

I looked under the help tab in PS (updates), and I clicked the icon on my desktop. It's not there. Figures, this is the one I have been waiting for.

I had to sign out and sign back in to see the updates.

What OS are you using? If you're using a mac it's not compatible with anything before Mojave.

Open Adobe Dashboard and click on "Check for Updates".

, you can do it in photoshop CC and there is a good video or YouTube by Anthony Morganti as how to do it But i prefer the sky replacement tool in Luminar 4 and it is very user friendly and it looks more natural and you have so many different skies to choose from. Good luck.

And you’re talking about the old method. Adobe just released a new update with a new sky replacement tool.

The notice I read about it was that it is part of the newest Photoshop Elements package. No mention was made of it being part of the PSP online Adobe program. Sorry, I don’t remember where I read about it, but it was within the last week.

That may be it. It says it is due out Oct. 20-22.

I'm in NY. I just updated 10 minutes ago (v22.0.0) and the sky replacement is there. Haven't tried it yet. You should get the update any day now.

My update notice came in an email today. Went to Creative Cloud and hit "Update" on PS v. 22.0.0. Also automatically upgraded to Camera Raw 13.0 at the same time. No problems. Was asked if I wanted to delete previous versions and I declined to do so. No problems. All new features are there and it looks like Christmas!

I noticed that the desktop icons for both the old and new versions are identical, so be sure to keep the 22.0.0 in your dock (if using Mac)

My understanding is that latest Adobe Photoshop upgrade is not yet ready for Windows. I run Mac and have been smiling all day!

Why would you think that? I installed mine last night and smiled all night!

I update yesterday and I now have both versions of PS on my computer. Go into the creative cloud desktop where all of your apps should be there and execute the app. You may first have to, as I did, manually execute the update before you open the app.

It is a major update. You have to initiate it in creative cloud desktop. You will also have the option to keep the old version. All it is telling you is that your current version is up to date.
