Yesterday, Colin Smith put a tutorial on F/B demonstrating this new tool...

Phlearn, provides a good explanation of the tool.

I have just seen the sky replacement option in PS. I never used PS and the first time I tried it it really worked. I was surprised it is so easy to use. I use LrC and PS is a whole new game. It looks like I might be able to start using it in a year or two. Doesn't appear to be as easy as LrC to learn and use with no problem.

If only they would provide foreground replacement, you could save the cost of an actual camera.

Haha, exactly. Why even bother with photography?

I just updated to PS 2021, went to the edit menu and a sky replacement option brings up a tool with several controls. A click on a sky selection replaces the original with no muss no fuss. It sure beats doing it manually>

I spent an hour trying to find this "tool" on the most recent update 2 days ago, and I couldn't find even a mention of it on this latest version of PS CC?

I have v 21.2.4 and it tells me it is up to date.

Many companies make updates available in phases to limit the pressure on their download servers and/or to limit the number of affected customers, should the update be buggy. I know that Microsoft does it - not sure about Adobe, though. I did the update yesterday, but other than making sure that the Lightroom database conversion worked, I haven't done anything with the new versions, yet.

Did you look on your Adobe dashboard? I have an update noted but I have not update as yet. I'll wait a bit to do that.

Good idea. The most recent download is causing me problems. I note that the Adobe support is also swamped-probably over the stupid stuff this "update" is causing. Versions-PS 22.0.0. LrC 10.

I just watched a tutorial by Aaron Nace in regards to the new Adobe sky replacement tool. According to him it is out and ready to use. I don't have it. I checked my update status on Adobe and I am up to date. I had read online an announcement from Adobe that it would be out on the 18th or 19th but not here. Any idea as to why I wouldn't have it yet?

I opened PS and checked updates. Updated and I now have PS 2021 with sky replacement.

The issue I am experiencing is that I cannot figure out how to keep
LrC on one monitor and Photoshop on the other. Keeps jumping around.
