Looks like a fun day was had. Nice shooting.
It was fun for sure, Steve! I’m disappointed to have missed the club’s return there in the midst of the fall colours.

I have the pleasure of being included in camera club excursions while at the cottage. I was not thrilled with the idea of visiting a junkyard but it turned out to be one of my favourite outings of the summer. These are a few of the 200 + photos I took that day.
There are different ways of looking at things. Sometimes it's just a piece of what you see. Nice shots.

Thanks for the thumbs up, Blair.
You did a great job by shooting the subject matter with close-up compositions.

At least these oldies were in the midst of nature. There is a movie studio vehicle storage lot close to me and the few times I have been given permission to photograph, I found it hard to capture what I wanted to. Time of day and all crammed in pretty tightly. So much to shoot that I felt rushed not wanting to intrude on the business. Like you, not my thing to shoot but I was delighted in the experience both times. Could have spent days there lost in my on world. Your photos are wonderful! Especially love the second one. My husband has old truck near his shed- maybe I will surprise him and plant the bed of it.

Thanks, SoHillGuy! If I remember correctly most were shot with the 10-22 or the 18-135 (out to 120.) I do remember being surprised when it was recommended to me that I take the wide angle. I might rent a fisheye if I go again!
I need to get a pair of glasses for viewing 3D. Your shots look amazing!

Thank you, Sandy! These were in a multi acre wood lot so yes, much easier than crammed into urban quarters. I like 2, as well, mainly for its colour. My Dad had a car that colour when I was little. As long as your hubby won’t want to tinker I think you should go ahead and plant in his truck!
