I have the pleasure of being included in camera club excursions while at the cottage. I was not thrilled with the idea of visiting a junkyard but it turned out to be one of my favourite outings of the summer. These are a few of the 200 + photos I took that day.

These are some of the most engaging compositions (and processing) of junk yards I've seen, Marg. You were obviously up to the challenge of shooting out of your area of interest. Great work!

Thank you, Linda! You are always so kind in your assessments and such a confidence booster. I know it’s a personal preference but I think rust lends itself well to HDR effects and colour boosting. There were hundreds of cars and trucks out in the woods. I only got to about a quarter of them so hope to go again.

Junk yard can offer a lot when it comes to photography. And your images show it. Nice work.

Thank you, Bruce. Some of the vegetation could have benefitted from Barbara’s touch!

Iron Sight, we were there for almost three hours and only saw a quarter of it. It’s a long way from you though.
