Democrat senator Hirono asked Amy Barrett if she had ever been sexually assaulted. What gives that POS senator the right to ask such a personal question. This confirmation hearing has shown the true heart of the left, and it is black.

No doubt. She’s stupider than a box of rocks. No wonder she’s Democrat.

Can’t you read a thread, already requested it to be moved. Little respect for you after you wanted to see our President either die or end up with a debilitating illness from the Chinese virus. You need to stay in France and out of a country you obviously hate.

I watched that exchange and as I remember, Senator Hirono stated that this is a standard question that a committee that she is on asks all candidates, "Have YOU ever sexually assaulted someone?" (Verified by the transcript of the exchange.)
In my humble opinion, the question should have been directed to her husband and been phrased, "Has this candidate ever sexually assaulted you?"

Note the times of the posts. Looks like you were both typing at the same time.

Doesn’t change the second half of my post.
Hirono is the Hawaiian word for dogshit, as in "don't step in that pile of hirono"
The intent of the question was better stated, "if a woman is sexually alalted, especially an underage girl, must she be burdened by having that child at perhaps 12 years of age perhaps by her own father, or can she be aborted and have more normal future life?"
I had an RN friend who was by religion against abortions until she worked in a county hospital and dealt with children having children some as young as 10 years of age!!
The Catholic Faith is an old one and in the competition for followers, it was an advantage to have their "flock" outbreed the others. Historically, few children survived to adulthood, infant mortality was high. Plagues decimated populations.
To survive, their women were expected to be brood sows, having large families, perhaps as the Judge's seven children. 7! We live in a crowded expensive world and who is going to feed and give medical care to them, and provide excellent education? Because many mothers are, by necessity of economics, required to work, who stays home to take care of seven sequentially sick children? Certainly not the Republican Conservatives. There are consequences beyond taking a 2000 year old mythology as the guiding philosophy.
