Try a week, like after a hurricane.
SOOOOOO happy when power returns.

Seven channels? You had seven channels? Luxury! We only had two and a half (one was intermittent).

That was on Long Island. When I moved to the Catskills, we needed a 20' antenna on top of a 20' tower to get two fuzzy channels.

Ditto while growing up in rural NW Iowa, 2 CBS channels that we could depend on and am occasional ABC. People would discuss something on NBC and we’d had have no clue. Somehow, we survived. 🥴

Seven here also growing up.
Three VHF (ABC; NBC; CBS) and four UHF (local).

Yesterday was awful! No Internet. No cable. No phone. I lost everything around 9:00 AM. Spectrum said it would be working at 11:30. After several calls, they said it was fixed - no still working on it - will be fixed eventually. The phone came back in the afternoon, and the TV came back some time in the evening. It's amazing how helpless I felt not being able to go online and check things and talk to people. At least my cell phone worked.

When the TV came back, it couldn't find the Tivo box, so no TV. That came back after a while, but then the TV cut out. All I have now is a black screen. The TV in the other room works, though. The day before yesterday, my TV sounded like everyone was gargling. Remember how simple life used to be? Seven channels and rabbit ears on top of the TV.

Couldn't have been too bad for you, Jerry. Out of ten posts in the Chit-Chat section of today's Photography Digest you still managed to post four of them.

I grew up in the upper midwest farm country. Rural electric didn't arrive dependably until the late 50's. TV about the same time but generally one station, that often displayed the 'trouble on the line' slide, sometimes for hours. Tin foil on the rabbit ears wasn't for Christmas. Nearly all the farmers had a windmill for fresh water, cows for milk, chickens delivered fresh eggs daily and many had a 'wind charger' tower that could recharge battery banks for milking the cattle early evenings--not sure of the voltage but it wasn't 110. We had some fruit trees, we grew some garden crops in the back yard and often brought in a dozen live chickens for future Sunday dinner. Nothing went to waste, we were poor but we survived. Our urban lifestyle forbids much of that, although I do hear a rooster someplace down the block! My wife, when she has time, still puts wet laundry on a clothes line.

They work fine while the sun shines or you still have candles.

You still use Tivo? I do too. I use my last remaining Romio to make my MOCA connections. I turned off cable TV. Now the bastards at Comcast charge me data overages every month because a use a ROKU and work from home. The cut the cable mantra might be good if you never watch TV again I guess.

OMG! I truely believe that 99% of the people on this planet would up and DIE if they were to be put back in the 1800s, or 1700s.....I have a cell phone, but I never carry it with me when I leave the house......I do not have cable, or sat TV. Just my computer. And when I get bored of looking at it, I go for a walk, or, heaven forbid, sit down and READ A BOOK!

Yes, I'm afraid this is a no-win situation.
