I took these on Friday of last week, in the North Georgia mountains. This is the smallest State Park in Georgia.

Hemlock Falls is about a 2 mile round trip from the park.

Lake Burton is the largest of the five Georgia Power North Georgia lakes according to Explore Georgia.

Nikon D7500 with Tamron 10-24, Panasonic LX10, and iPhone 7.

lake burton is a fun place to visit and take pictures and yours are great, dean!

Dean, you find the best locations, I would never deny that. And your compositions are always excellent. Have you started using new PP software? The downed logs in 1&2 look (on my screen) like they have been painted with Behr Redwood stain. And the beautiful Lake Burton image shows pronounced halos around the "too red" wharf pilings. Wazzup?

Thank you for taking the time to comment and for the compliments. My PP software is the same...PS Elements on my desktop followed by Snapseed on my iPad. I just reviewed the downloads on both my desktop and iPad. I usually prefer a more saturated look and that is reflected in these posts. The Lake Burton photo was taken with a 1 inch sensor compact, the Panasonic LX10. If I zoom in heavily on the red piling, I can see a slight halo that I didn’t notice before.

Beautiful set and I have added the park to my must visit list. Number 1 belongs on one of your walls, simply beautiful colors and framing. Number 2,3,& 6 are my other favorites.

It looks like you and I are in the minority; however, I am in total agreement with you. I like his composition plus the sites are excellent. A little more editing with emphasis on brightness will really help.
