On my walk this morning I saw yet another new resident from California. I understand the pressure from the taxes and the fires, but I hope that the mind-set that created the mess in California does not come with them.

On the plus side, look at the cool toys he brought.

Maybe he will let you wax it for him.

Mike, I hope they leave the extreme liberal view in California. Some of my friends in Colorado are having to deal with the extreme liberal views that they did not leave behind. These are personal friends not members of UHH.

The toy they brought with them is fantastic, almost as good as the photos you took.

Hopefully, Mike, they’ll follow the rule “When in Rome...”

There should be a way to stop this migratory virus attitude they bring with them. A couple months in isolation perhaps?

Good idea.

UTMike, love the photo of the car...oh, my...a real beauty. Hopefully in time the new residents will see that with all things considered the ways of life for them better elsewhere.

You are obviously a kind and optimistic person, Gary, I hope that your are correct.

Very nice photo of a great car. Sure is a nice toy and am sure that he will vote the same way he did in the last place he lived. Just can't change the spots of a tiger. Mahalo for sharing Mike.

And I bet you regret that you let it go now.

We had our first child in 1967, the car got too small, so I sold it. When I was 50 I bought a replacement, picked it up at the factory, and I still have it.

And here in the rural California foothills we gripe when the flatlanders from anywhere bring their citified ideas. Not ALL Californians are trying to change you to their ways when they move. So there is hope. Give ‘em a chance first. Heck, we were thinking of moving out of state some day and would be sad if were judged by our license plates alone.

that's a really cool toy, mike! wouldn't it be grand if you and the dogs could zoom around and up and down
those beautiful mountains in it?
