In my opinion... it is a nice scene. But both are way oversaturated and hurt my eyes. I would really like to see the original SOOC image.

I will not post my version of this image as I was not asked to do so. But I feel there is room for change within it. IMHO

I'll go with one, the totally black sky emphasizes the buildings and reflections.

I like #1, the buildings are too bright in the second one.

It is funny how the pictures have been about 50/50. I would have thought 1 would be the choice because of all the noise in the sky . Maybe they had to be enlarged to really see all the noise.

#1 for me. #2 looks washed out.

Those who like HDR processing will go for #1. #2 is closer to what the eye sees.

As they are, probably #2. But if you cut the saturation some on #1, I might like that best. Question: What is causing the reflected light in the water? Is it the lights at water level along the shore? The white lights on the left side aren't nearly as intense. So, IMHO toning it done a little would help, but of course the photo must please you.

I like the second better because of the sky. I might try a 16:9 aspect and reduce the water and blur and perhaps use a graduated filter to darken the lower edge.

Longer exposure at lower ISO would have smoothed the water.

It is interesting how people see things differently. That puts the artistry in photograpy.

I also like #2 more because the contrast between the buildings and sky is less harsh and therefore more pleasing to view. IMHO

I would prefer someplace in-between. I like the extra detail in #2, but it would benefit from a little more contrast while maintaining the extra detail.
