Excellent post! You are going to convince me that I want to learn the ins and outs of PS.

And many on here would be happy to polish those bronzes daily! I like the look you achieved.

I agree! This is some hot stuff that’s very nicely done.

The bronze reminds me of Goldfinger in the James Bond Movie.

Choke, gag, cough, how unclean... Photo-shop... it is claimed that PS will even cure COVID!!! Is nothing sacred to PS people?! Your pseudo name speaks legends.. Tox as in Toxic!! Have you no shame???

First of all, recognize that PS is an antiquated program that is held afloat by Mythology and Elitism... as tho a religion. Perhaps the better question would be is there a way of editing a regular photo to achieve a similar look? This opens a world of editing programs and plugins. Most edit programs, unlike PS, do not send thugs around monthly for a tribute as tho a "protection racket" NYC Mafia.

If you must, I cringe, try converting to B&W, perhaps Topaz B&W2 using Platinum. Then in the editing program go to image and negative image and swap white for black. or... Perhaps the other-way around swap and then use BW2. Good luck... in this unsavory venture.

Photoshop antiquated! ROFL! I make a good living and support my family using primarily Adobe products, it is anything BUT antiquated, and all that wasn't paid for by a myth or elitism...just pure usefulness, efficiency and creativity.

As far as the the way it is billed, i just downloaded another PSD update to 21.0.3 --the very latest... The monthly subscription fee ensures I always have the very latest and greatest version... If I paid what i used to for a stand alone app, by the time I got to the number of month's it would have taken (+/- 60 month's) to add up to the one time price I used to pay (+/- $600), my program would now be 5 years old! 5 years = antiquated. Did it that way for many years, as that was all that was available back then, this is MUCH better and the same price in the end.

To avoid the mafia thugs... You could pay them $600 right now today, upfront-like everyone used to, and they won't bother you for 5 years.... meanwhile they would very kindly send you every update that comes out... rather than you stuck with an old app and disks and books, you threw in the garbage- being completely worthless. But some people can't grasp this concept.

And while Photoshop, in conjunction with Lightroom, can work magic... cameras and media that are sensitive to other wavelengths of light, record certain things better and more interesting than post production can reproduce. I may not like them enough to hang, (though some infrared landscapes are really cool & hangable) .. I do find them interesting - and I learn something from them. Same with prints from negatives and platinum prints- I love 'em!

But then, I am still learning- will till the day I pack it in.
