Hi NMGal , How can I get the program you mentioned "TouchRetouch"

Thanks

There is a TouchRetouch app ($1.99) for the iPad that works ok. I removed a flower pot, lamppost and houses from the second photo just as an example.

If it is a one time deal. Try Photoshop CS6 trial version.

PSE has a spot/scratch remover in the basic portion. I use it for removing wires & poles etc. In the Advanced area, the color picker & brush tool can be helpful as well.

I am surprised nobody mentioned InPixio software. The Photo Studio contains Erase module that erases unwanted objects. Another module erases background leaving it transparent and you can place there the background you desire, either your own image or the backgrounds included in the package. It's very inexpensive, too.

You also removed a mailbox, but all those things were removed from the first photo following the text, not the 2nd.

If you have Photoshop, use the magic wand selection tool to select the unwanted person, press the Backspace key and make sure "content aware Fill" is in the dropdown box. That's it.

Yes, I did... back on page 2...I like it for its simplicity and speed... not as perfect as a good mask in PS but very capable of good results.

"...I had some good results with Inpixio when I need a fast edit. PS and LR are more capable but for simple edits like removing someone or fixing small spots Inpixio is a good one."

Yes. I was less successful removing the other houses since there is no background but I spent very little time trying.

You can use photoshop to remove objects or Luminar 4 has a feature by which you can remove objects.

Several people mentioned InPixio and are very unhappy with this software. I have tried to use it with out been successful, on their advertising videos it looks very easy but I was told they have done a lot of editing. I have purchased the CD and I find in order to finish my project I have to transfer my photos to LR.

Skylum, formerly MacPhun had a program called Snapheal that does wonders. I use it all the time with great success. It was originally created for Mac. I’m not sure if there is a windows version. Their Luminar 4 product also does a good job of object removal.
